1. What should I do if I'm sick the same week as my appointment?
if you are feeling unwell or are exhibiting any symptoms of cold or flu, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible if it is within the same week as the start of your symptoms. If you cancel due to illness on the day of your appointment then you will not be charged the 24 hour cancellation fee. Please let us know as quickly as possible so that others may book in. This will ensure the health and safety of everyone at the clinic.

2. What happens if I miss my appointment or want to reschedule within 24 hours of the appointment?
All missed and late cancelled appointments will be charged the full amount of the cost of the missed treatment. Please be respectful of the Therapist's time and give ample notice if you cannot make your appointment.

3. Why is there a late cancellation or missed appointment fee?
The Therapist ensures that they are at the clinic and ready to receive each client. Each treatment is how they pay their rent and is able to stay open and be of service. If an appointment is cancelled late then it is difficult to give other clients enough time to be able to come in for that spot and the clinic to recoup those losses.
Imagine that you showed up to work only to find out that they don't want you to work that day and you will not be getting paid! It's the same for us.

4. Does this clinic accept Insurance? (Direct Billing)
I am a Registered Massage Therapist which means my RMT services are covered under most extended Health Benefits. Please note, we do not do Direct Billing. Once you have received and paid for your treatment, you will be emailed with a receipt which has the RMT's registration information for you to submit to your insurance company and be reimbursed quickly and easily.

5. Are the Holistic Nutrition Services covered under Extended Health Benefits?
Elissa is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist which is covered under some health plans that cover "Nutrition Counselling" OR have an umbrella Health Services plan or amount. For those who do not have this, they would pay out of pocket.

6. Are the Nutrition Services Covered under Dietician or Naturopath?
No, Elissa is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and not a Dietician or Naturopath. If you have "Nutritional Counselling" in your Health Benefits then the services would fall under that category and can be covered.

8. Do you still offer Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage Therapy?
No, as of January 1st 2025 we no longer offer this particular service. We are focusing on the new tools and treatments included into our services menu.

9. Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes, we do! Just let us know the Service or amount you would like and we can give you a beautiful physical gift certificate or even a virtual one!
